When I joined my winter syndicate in November, there was one fish that really attracted me. It's not the biggest in the pond, allowing that mantel to one other, but 'Snoopy' just seemed to have character and more importantly for me, was a proper old english mirror living in the heart of my home; the Cotswolds.

An overnight session this week produced a take at 23:51 and having spoken about the fish all day at work, it was a crazy feeling when it went in the net. Absolutely thrilled after banging my head for much of the winter, but it all came good eventually. The fish came to a single pop up having baited two days prior with some freebies and Hinders Bait Hemp. Still doing cartwheels, happy times indeed.
