Ryan Rodford has sent his recent catch report from Furnace Lakes. When I arrived at Furnace Lakes on a wet, windy afternoon I decided to fish the match lake on the Six Lake Complex. I set up with my long time fishing partner Ben Staley. I was using Partiblend and Peanut Particle and French Mix with Betalin. I took my baits across to a deep gully in the middle of the lake and I hardly slept at all. During the night I landed 7 carp the biggest being 16lb and Ben landed one carp of around 9lb. I then caught another 4 carp during sunday morning and Ben landed another 1 which weighed around 7lb. It was a great session and my trust in the Hinders Particle Jars is continuing to grow.

Ryan Rodford has been in the action again at Furnace Lakes here is his recent catch report. When I arrived at Furnace Lakes on a wet drizzly Saturday Morning I decided to fish the spcimen lake on the 6 lake complex. I set up and took my baits across to a island at 40 yards range. In the boat was a handful of Partiblend and Peanut Prepared Particle and the French Mix with Betalin. When I brought my boat back and I had a screaming run straight away, unluckily the hook pulled. I changed the hook over and took the bait back out to the same spot. Action was slow for the next couple of hours but I noticed there was a strong wind blowing into a corner of the lake, so I loaded up the boat and took the bait out to that spot. An hour later my right hand rod screamed off and I was in. I had a long fight but eventually landed a lovely common carp. It pulled the scales round to 18lb 8oz and I was thrilled. I took the bait back over to the same place and again about an hour later the same rod screamed off again, I landed another good condition common this one weighed 17lb 8oz. I also managed to bank a 14lb 8oz common during the night.

Barbel Ace Paul Hiom has been in the action again with a 11lb 5oz Barbel caught using Salamiz Multi Mix in a feeder and Salamiz Xtra Hard Hookbaits on the hook.

Ryan Rodford has emailed us with his catch report:
"Firstly here are some photos of fish using a mixture of your French Mix and Betalin Prepared Particle and Partiblend 'n' Peanut Jar. I must say I am very impressed with the products and they definitely seem to have immediate effect on bringing the fish into the swim.

When I turned up on the Saturday morning to fish the specimen lake at the furnace lakes complex for a 24hr session, I didn't have high hopes. There were already four other people on the lake and none of them had caught a thing. Me and my dad took our baits across to a island at about 40 yards. We had a double hook up within the first 10 minutes of setting up, I managed to bank a 22lb 8oz mirror and my dad dad landed a lovely 16lb 8oz common. I then went on to bank another 4 fish during that session a 19lb 8oz mirror, 15lb 8oz mirror, 15lb common and a 14lb 8oz common"

Every now and then in the carp world products appear and vanish. Some good, some average and some poor. I am going to talk to you about some that are not just good but simply outstanding and are definitely here to stay. I had been hearing on the grapevine about certain products that have been ripping waters apart. This was coming from lots of different people in the know. Not being slow on the uptake I was soon on to it. The name Hinders was mentioned many times and their range of spod mixes. Without further question I made my inquiries. Indeed the people at Hinders know there stuff about bait. I was like a kid in a sweet shop. The mixes and additives were fantastic. Not only are they easy to use but with a little thought you can create your own blinding mix. I was away and ready to incorporate into my own fishing. I first used the Nutz Sludge with Bait Tec Chilli Hemp and Sweet corn oil. Once mixed this created the most gorgeous tasting spod I had ever used. The response was immediate both here and abroad. Infact I caught loads of fish over this combo combined with Richworth boilies.

My next trip I tried the Flamin Squid Mix and yes you’ve guessed it I caught carp to 25 lb that trip. My last trip out was with Advanced Carp Fishing to do the weekender series at the awesome Cemex Frimley Pit Four. This trip I opted to try the Cheesy Tuna mixed with Hemp again with tinned tuna with sunflower oil. Wow this was special indeed, the aroma screamed carp. Now Frimley Four is not an easy pit by any means but worth the effort. I don’t want to say too much because of the magazine. But lets just I had a result as you can see by the pictures. Multiplex Boilies and Cheesy Tuna is definitely a winning combo. As I try more of these ace products I will keep you informed and let you have any edges I come across. Very best of luck this summer in your angling. Don’t be the last to try these products, trust me your catch rate will go up.
Cheers
Steve Renyard
