Chick Peas are an extremely underrated particle bait which if prepared correctly can be a great carp catcher. We recommend that you soak your Chick Peas in water for 12-14 hours our top tip would be to add 50ml of CSL Liquid per litre of water in the soaking process. Make sure you use plenty of water. Then bring the Chick Peas to the boil and then simmer for approximately 20mins. The CSL Liquid is then trapped in the Chick Peas making it irresistible to feeding fish.

Preparation

Pre soak your Chick Peas for 12-14 hours in cold water then bring the particle to the boil and then simmer for 20-30 mins the Chick Peas are then ready to use.  Once prepared use your Chick Peas within 5-7 days otherwise freeze them and use when needed.  To keep your dry Chick Peas in the best possible condition then keep in a cool dry place ideally in an airtight bucket.

Top Tip

Add some bait dye to your Chick Peas to give them that added extra attraction.  Add the dye at the pre soak stage for the best results
